Mena Yamany Weds Shehryar Siddiqui | Rustic Bejeweled Garden Wedding by House of Tales Events

Mena and Shehryar’s rustic bejeweled garden wedding at The Orchard, a wedding venue in DFW area, is such a festive mix of glam details  with beautiful cultural touches and Texas charm. Mena and Shehryar met at the University of Texas through their studies. Over many pints of mint chocolate chip ice cream, their friendship developed into something special. Upon Shehryar’s graduation, he spent two months living and working in Costa Rica. There wasn’t a single day spent abroad that he wasn’t texting or calling Mena, which is when he realized he had to spend the rest of his life with her.

On a weekend trip home to visit their families, Shehryar planned a date night. After a wonderful dinner at Steve Fields, they went to Paciugo for dessert. Shehryar then said they had one more stop. Mena completely freaked out when they pulled into a private air strip in Addison! They climbed into a small plane for a tour of Dallas-Fort Worth. Thinking the night couldn’t get better, Mena was more surprised when the pilot pointed out a field that had, “Marry Me,” written with lights. At that moment, Shehryar asked Mena to marry him, and she could barely say, “Of course!”
