This Bride’s “Something Old” Was Oh-So-Sentimental

You can count us in to any sentimental and personal details when it comes to this wedding tradition. Samatha tied her grandfather’s wedding band around her bouquet as her ‘something old.’ According to the bride, “My grandparents were madly in love, and we aspire to have a relationship like theirs. They were completely devoted to each other.” How sweet!

This detail however is only one of many that made Samantha and Jory’s day extra special. Before the ceremony began, Samantha and Jory opted for a first look. They knew they wanted to share that moment together in private. “I slowly tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around with the biggest smile on his face!” Moments like that are what the day is all about!

The couple tied the knot in a romantic and intimate setting at The Laurel with a rocking dance party from LeForce Entertainment following. The dusty blue bridesmaids’ dresses from Bella Bridesmaids were the perfect complement to the blush pink hues from Lush Couture FloralAnother detail that helped ease the newlyweds’ nerves, was that they took dance lessons in preparation for the big day! They were so giddy and excited to finally be able to call each other husband and wife during their first dance. After over five years together, they are finally the Zivin’s! Cheers!

From the bride on her favorite memory: “I’ll never forget the cheers from our friends and family when we kissed in the chapel and were announced husband and wife. I felt like I was floating.”
