This Autumn Scene gets a Fresh Look with Soft Blue and Marigold Hues

When we think of fall color schemes, it’s easy for warm tones, mauves, browns and oranges to come to mind. This autumnal styled shoot at the new DFW modern farmhouse wedding venue, Davis & Grey Farms, switches things up using soft blue and marigold hues as the basis for an incredible, organic-inspired scene featuring gorgeous blooms by Poppies and Peonies Design! Top Tier Event Rentals & Staffing brought the centerpiece of the day via a heavy, dark wood table evoking timeless sophistication and masculinity, paired beautifully with a flowing, cheerful runner in a pale bright blue, stark white stacked plates with simple white linens, copper flatware and, of course, stunning floral centerpieces. Rust-colored autumn leaves pair with fresh greenery, bright anemones and pops of coral, all of which work so well with the common thread of blue shades evident throughout the venue, like in the seating chart and cake table accent wall. This styled shoot also features two bridal looks: a flowing V-neck number from WED Bridal Boutique and a strappy, princess-skirt-style gown from Bridal Boutique. Contrast is the name of the game for this editorial look, with bright whites and dark woods next to muted colors and bold blues. Everything together creates a unique, autumnal vibe without feeling too much like a “typical” fall wedding. These colors pair perfectly with one another and offer a romantic, etherial and sophisticated feel. For this editorial we teamed up with an amazing group of vendors to bring this inspiration to life. When the moment came to decide which venue would be the perfect fit for our shoot, we decided to choose a unique venue that would represent the modern bride that wants to mix the indoor with some outdoor experience. Having this in mind, it was clear that the new Davis & Grey venue was the go-t0 place!
