After a chance meeting at a gathering, Kristin and Scott tied the knot in a sophisticated and romantic ceremony in Dallas. If you’ve ever thought about planning a wedding with the colors ivory, black and gold, stay tuned – you’re in for a treat! Almost every wedding starts out the same right? You get ready with your wedding party, dance, eat and prepare yourself for the best day of your life. Well, things were a bit different for Kristin, as she tried to finish writing her vows. While she did not finish before the wedding, she got ready in her stunning dress from Stardust Celebrations and went to see her groom during their first look. After seeing her soon-to-be husband in his suit from Generation Tux, they were both in tears (how sweet!).
Kristin realized soon after their first look that she wouldn’t finish writing her vows, so she opted for bullet points and hoped everything would flow from the heart. Spoiler alert: it did! There was not a dry eye during their ceremony. After everyone wiped their happy tears, the newlyweds and the wedding party went to get their pictures taken by The Lockharts. Their light and airy photography was well matched with this couple’s theme of sophistication and romance! We know this is supposed to be all about this newly married couple, but can we just take a moment to admire how beautiful the bride’s wedding party’s dresses are? We could honestly stare at this gorgeous lineup of mix and match dresses all day. The bride’s maid of honor wore a dress from Bella Bridesmaids, and it was absolutely gorgeous! After their heartfelt ceremony, their reception was golden, literally! With black and gold details to their decor and cake from Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery it was the perfect end to what was a beautiful day all around! But this wedding wouldn’t have been possible without Christy from Swank Soiree, who kept everyone on schedule and shielded the bride from typical stress and allowed her to enjoy everything…and we all know it takes a special planner to be able to do that! Keep scrolling to see all the pretty details from their big day, and congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell!
From the bride on her favorite wedding memory: “My favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle with my mom holding my hand while I watched Scott look at me with eyes filled with tears and love.”
