How can couples incorporate the venue into the design of their wedding?
I find that when venue shopping, looking at the history and architecture of the space helps with the decor selection and overall design of the wedding.
Are there any specific venue features that you love to work with in particular?
Any BIG Windows; I just LOVE big windows. If the wedding is at the right time of day, the wedding party has a beautiful light shone upon them.
How can a couple utilize all that a venue has to offer?
Couples should take into consideration all spaces offered by a venue. Let’s say the venue has a smaller room that can accommodate 80% of your guests in a reception style. In this case, you can host a pre-ceremony champagne welcome for partygoers to attend.
What local venues are your favorite to style weddings at?
It varies by each client’s particular style and taste. We have had the pleasure of styling Hillside Estates, which has beautiful marble floors, The Adolphus Hotel in the Governor’s Ballroom, and most recently the lavish wedding you see above at The Bowden in Keller.
