This traditional ballroom wedding has the sweetest beginning – Mackenzie and Reid met in middle school, but didn’t start dating until junior year of high school. After doing long distance for four years in college, Reid popped the question after they both graduated. These high school sweethearts had a darling classic wedding, keep reading to learn all the deets!
Mackenzie picked out her stunning dress from Patsy’s, A Bridal Boutique, and it was an absolute dream with to-die-for detailing! Our sweet bride Mackenzie wanted her bridesmaids to feel like themselves in their dresses, and luckily Stardust Celebrations had the most flattering coastal blue dresses, perfect for this classic wedding.
After gathering all their dresses and getting ready for their big day at The Adolphus Hotel, it was time to get hitched! These two tied the knot at a chapel, and had their reception at The Adolphus Hotel, and boy was it a party! With great music, food and gorgeous florals, it was hard not to enjoy oneself. Their night could not have been any better, and they owe it all to Weddings by Stardust for making their celebration come together so smoothly. See all the pictures of this traditional ballroom wedding day below – cheers!
From the bride on her favorite details: “A couple of my favorite wedding day details were in the tradition of ‘something old, new, borrowed, and blue.’ My ‘something old’ was a handkerchief pinned into my dress made from the bonnet I wore home from the hospital I was born in. My ‘something new’ was a broach attached to my bouquet, and my ‘something blue’ was the embellishments on my garter.”
