Andrew and Christine were secretly set up by Christine’s best friend during the summer of 2012. Christine’s friend Monica had wanted her to meet Andrew for some time, so when she invited Christine to a concert she left out the fact that Andrew would be there as well. Luckily, Andrew and Christine hit it off and a few weeks later he asked Monica for Christine’s phone number.

A year before the proposal, Christine and Andrew had purchased and renovated a house together. Just a few days before Christine’s birthday, Andrew decided to pop the question in the house that they had turned into their home. Before heading out to dinner, Christine opened up a small birthday box. A few random items were hiding the ring and when she got to the small box she saw Andrew was on one knee.
