As we prep to reveal a slew of new gorgeous designer gowns in our upcoming Fall/Winter 2011 issue of Brides of North Texas magazine (set to hit newsstands in early August – we can hardly wait!), we thought we’d re-live the magic of our Work of Art gown shoot as seen in our current issue, shot by the amazingly talented TX Wedding Photographer, Hiram Trillo of Hiram Trillo Photography! It was so much fun working alongside Hiram through conception to completion of this shoot! Hiram is a true artist and master of his craft, who brought vision, tons of sketches and excitement to the shoot!
The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Dallas Museum of Art offered the perfect backdrop for the editorial direction of this shoot. The gowns selected for inclusion in this 24-page spread were carefully chosen because of the uniqueness of their dimension, architecture and design. The team at Troy Richard Salon in Frisco, Texas, executed every step of the way with gorgeous and dramatic hair and make-up styling. Kudos to the entire team of wedding pros that made this shoot amazing, including Texas jewelers, Pieter Andries in Southlake and Kubes Jewelers in Fort Worth; Texas florists, Fete des Fleurs, Antebellum Design and Cebolla Fine Flowers; Texas bridal boutiques, The Bridal Salon at Stanley Korshak, Patsy’s Bridal Boutique, Bridal Boutique of Lewisville, Bliss Bridal Salon, Stardust Celebrations and Bella Bridesmaid, in addition to gown designers, Mikaella, Angel Sanchez, Pronovias, Jenny Packham, Palazzo, Alvina Valenta, Alix & Kelly, La Sposa, Justin Alexander, Badgley Mischka and Lazaro! Be sure to check out the behind the scenes video of our shoot as well captured by the brilliant Hakim Sons Films! Cheers!
