Kimberly Owen Weds Caleb Hendrixson | Organic Warehouse Wedding by Jen Rios Weddings

Kimberly and Caleb met in the Washburn Rural High School Marching Band in the fall of 2008. Because they both played woodwind instruments, they stood next to each other during rehearsal. Their first interaction was on a field trip with the marching band when Caleb overheard a funny story Kim was telling; they quickly developed a friendship through band events. At the end of the school year, Caleb asked Kim on their first date and they have been together since.

Caleb planned a meaningful proposal for Kim. First, they enjoyed the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra to hear Alessio Bax perform. After the symphony, he mentioned there was a new statue on Texas Christian University’s campus he wanted to see. They parked on campus and walked toward the chapel where Caleb admitted there was no statue. He led Kim to the front doors of the chapel, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.
