It doesn’t get more lovely than Taylor and Kevin’s sunrise brunch wedding featuring so many incredible North Texas wedding vendors! We love how their celebration was inspired by the sunrise with lighter florals during the ceremony and brighter colors during the reception to continue the floral story. Cheers to the happy couple!

Taylor and Kevin met after living in the same dorm their freshman year of college. It was October 2011 and the Texas Rangers were about to play the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. Taylor was the only Texas girl at their university, while Kevin loves the Cardinals. The pair made a bet that the loser would have to wear the other team’s shirt. Long story short, Taylor got to wear Kevin’s shirt all day. Their friendship only grew and they started dating a few months later.

To celebrate Labor Day, Taylor visited Washington D.C., where she had the chance to visit Kevin and several college friends. After grabbing dinner the first night, Kevin suggested they wake up early the next morning to watch the sunrise at the Jefferson Memorial. Secretly hoping he was going to propose, Taylor went to bed early and woke up refreshed. Kevin’s calming mood that morning made her accept there would be no proposal. They sat atop the steps of the memorial when Kevin pulled out a ring box holding her dream ring. She happily said yes!
